We Begin Again - Ashley and Janic at St. Mary’s Assumption

Hello All!

Welcome to the new Bride Film Blog, aka the Bride Blog!  We are so excited to debut our new website and officially make our first blog post.  We are feeling inspired and rejuvenated....ready to share with you all the creative ideas we have flowing through Bride Film headquarters.

So let us be your guide in this exciting / scary / fun / creative wedding planning adventure.  For some, it may be new territory, for others, you've been around awhile.  We aren't promising to bring you revolutionary info, but we are promising to share with you our perspective on the wild wedding world and most importantly, the wild world of wedding films.

First up, Ashley and Janic.  These two had a fabulous wedding at The Roosevelt Hotel and St. Mary's Assumption Church in New Orleans.  We love St. Mary's Assumption....with its warm feeling and dark hard wood interior, as soon as you enter, you will feel old New Orleans ambiance.  But more importantly, we love Ashley & Janic.  Read on to learn more about their story...

Cast & Crew:

From Ashley:

"Janic and I met, working as interns, in the summer of 2005 at Hibernia National Bank.  Eight long years later, Janic asked my Dad's permission to marry me. In March, we went on a family ski trip to Breckenridge, Colorado. After riding the chair lift on our way up for another run down the mountain, we stopped to pose for a picture. While setting up for the picture (skis and all), Janic got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. We got engaged at the top of Peak 9."
