Riki & James // Race and Religious Wedding

Race and Religious is such a magical venue that embodies so much of the vibrant spirit and rich culture of New Orleans.  Riki's dress was so delicate and detailed with a beautiful beaded back, accented at the waist by a beaded belt.  The bride and bridesmaids carried vibrant red bouquets by Poppy & Mint, which stood bright against the bridesmaids' light lavender dresses...each bridesmaid wore her own style.  Between both their ceremony (Felicity Street Church) and reception (Race + Religious) venues, guests were able to experience some of the beautiful architecture of New Orleans.  New romantic spots were around each corner of the reception...from the cigar and whiskey room, to the flower covered courtyard, guests experienced a New Orleans atmosphere of its own.  Mardi Gras Indians and a second line band led the group around the neighborhood and the night ended with a dreamy sparkler exit for this sweet couple!  Great time working with the awesome Mint Julep Productions and fabulous Sam Hurd!

The weather was beautiful for Riki and James' December wedding.

We love the details of this neckline!

Felicity Street Church was a beautiful, unique venue for their ceremony.

The first dance was so romantic underneath the dreamy lighting of Race and Religious.

All of the bridesmaids wore matching white robes while doing their hair and makeup.

Riki's loose updo was the perfect hairstyle for her gorgeous Badgley Mischka dress.

James was all smiles while getting ready for his wedding!

We love this sweet moment between the bride and groom right as they met at the alter.

This is one of our favorite moments of the wedding day...the excitement is so real right as the bride and groom become husband and wife!
